Fazenda São Benedito
Our farm:
The beginning:
Maciel Antonio dos Santos was born in Carmo do Rio Claro.
He was the only one of the 10 siblings to go to Belo Horizonte, the state capital, to complete his studies.
An engineer by training, he never stopped looking at his homeland for development opportunities.
Thanks to his entrepreneurial vision, he realized the great potential for producing high-quality coffee in the region.
The Sao Benedito farm began producing coffee in 1972.
